COVID-19 Office Protocols
We are happy to announce the reopening of our office on June 8, 2020
- A mask is required at all times while in the office as mandated by the College of Optometrists of Ontario.
- Upon entry to the clinic, please use hand sanitizer provided in the vestibule.
- You will be asked a COVID questionnaire before your appointment and upon arrival for your appointment.
- We are limiting the number of people in our office at a time. The doors will be locked. Please arrive at the door at the time of your appointment and we will let you in. If you are early, please wait in your vehicle. If staff are on the phone or assisting another patient, they will be with you as soon as possible
- We ask you to arrive alone or bring only one guardian, if needed.
- Please continue to physically distance and maintain 2m from others when possible.
- Please call (905) 433-2015 or text 1(647) 931-1894 prior to arriving at the office for contact lens or product pick up.
- Strict disinfection protocols and wearing of PPE by all staff are enforced. We thoroughly clean all points of contact in exam rooms, front desk and washroom immediately after every patient. Plexiglass barriers have been installed.
- Teleoptometry consultations will be recommended for some ocular issues.
The COVID pandemic is a new situation for all of us and our protocols will continue to evolve as our understanding of this novel virus develops over time.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding our policies.
